Order Fulfillment/ Shipping (Australia)

Chef Works use a range of delivery partners. Shipping transit times can vary depending on where you are located.

Non-Embroidered orders: We aim to dispatch next business day for orders received before 12pm where all stock is available locally. Please allow an additional 5-7 business days where stock is drawn from our offshore warehouse, we will notify you if there is a lead time on your order.

Urgent orders: Please ensure your order is placed before 12pm and that you call to confirm for any urgent orders, so we can ensure expedited processing or advise if there are any lead times on stock.

Note transit times to Western Australia & Northern Territory take an average of 2-3 business days when selecting Express Post & 5-7 business days for Standard post. All other states average 1-2 business days with the Express option & 3-5 business days for Standard post.

For orders contains embroidery, alterations, or special requests, please allow a lead time of 5-7 business days from when we receive your approval any payment where all stock is available locally, or 12-14 days where stock is drawn from our offshore warehouse, plus delivery time.

Payment Options

We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

No minimum order, except where specified.

Any applicable import duties, fees and taxes for orders shipped to New Zealand and other international territories are the responsibility of the purchaser. Refer to the New Zealand customs website for NZ orders, or the applicable countries website for other orders.


Embroidery & Special Orders

Your logo can be embroidered on any garment. We prefer that you upload or email your artwork in a JPEG format. Pantone/PMS/Madeira colours (if applicable) can be emailed to sales@chefworks.com.au and we will do our best to match from our available colour range. Your logo will remain on file for your future orders.

 

Pricing for embroidery can be reviewed prior to placing and paying for your order. Simply add the garment to your cart, and staying on the garment’s page, select the yellow “Embroidery” button which will open a new page with embroidery options and pricing.

You can embroider up to three lines of text on most garments. There are eight font styles available to choose from and an array of colors. View here

 

Additional charges may be incurred if you make changes or adjustments to the logo that requires re-digitising. Please call or email our team for more details.

For every embroidery request, we will send you artwork for your approval prior to commencement of any embroidery work.

 

Embroidered/special orders are non-returnable & non-refundable. Please ensure that you capture all the information accurately & check all proofs thoroughly to avoid any problems.


Sizing and Measurements

These measurements do not refer to the actual measurements of the garments. The garment will be larger than the body measurements in order to provide for comfortable movement.

To get the best fit, stand straight and relax.

Chest: Measure from the fullest part of the chest/bust with your arms down.

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline above the hips.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Inseam: Measure from the base of the crotch to the bottom end of your pants. Or select a pair of pants that fits you well and measure along the inside leg seam from the crotch to the bottom of the hem.

International Orders

Chef Works Australia currently deliver within Australia and New Zealand only.

Chef Works can currently be found in over 45 countries around the world. If ordering from outside Australia or New Zealand, please refer to the Global Network page on Chef Works USA’s website for more information. If there is not an official Chef Works distributor in your area, please order online through the USA website.

Chef Works is not responsible, in any way, for any import duties or charges at the destination country.

Any questions or requests regarding country of origin certificates and duties should be presented to Chef Works before shipment is made. As shipments are often sent out the same day that the order is received, international customers are advised to present their questions as close as possible to placing the order.


Back Orders

Chef Works carries large inventories in stock; however, occasionally stock may be drawn from our offshore warehouse. It is our policy to fill back orders as soon as the merchandise is available, unless otherwise specified. Generally the lead time for back orders is 5-7 business days, however we will be in touch in the rare case of extended lead times due to stock shortages.

 


Return Policy

Returns Policy

At Chef Works, Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We are happy to accept the return of any un-embroidered, unused and non-altered item within 100 days of original purchase date. A Return Authorisation Number (RMA) is required for all returns. Please visit the Resolution Centre on our website (www.chefworks.com.au) or email us (sales@chefworks.com.au).

This RMA number must be written on the outside of the box to be returned. Please use a shipping service that provides a tracking number such as Australia Post, TNT or Fastway. Please keep a record of this number for tracking purposes. Shipping charges are the sole responsibility of the returnee. Please include your original invoice inside the box with your RMA # stated on the invoice. All Returns must include the original packaging and tagging (bags and labels, etc.) in RESALABLE condition. We will not accept the return of any item which shows signs of use or wear, including but not limited to:

  • Alterations
  • Laundering
  • Odors, including smoke
  • Pet hair
  • Stains or other markings

If your return items show signs or use or wear, you will be notified, the item will be returned to you, and no refund will be issued.

Additional Notes:

  • If you purchased your items from one of our trusted distributors, please contact them directly for your return.
  • We are unable to accept returns directly if the items were purchased from a third party.
  • 100 days free returns* means that Chef Works Australia will bear the cost of the return postage to the customer once the exchange has been made.

While we have made every effort to display the colors of our products as accurately as possible, the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, and we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

CHEF WORKS MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO CUSTOMERS CONCERNING ITEMS PURCHASED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE. THE TOTAL VALUE OF ANY LIABILITY OF CHEF WORKS IN ANY CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE AGGREGATE DOLLAR AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER TO CHEF WORKS. FOR THE PURCHASE UNDER THIS INVOICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL CHEF WORKS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES OR DAMAGES CONCERNING THE ITEMS PURCHASED.

 


Jurisdiction & Law

Any legal action concerning a customer order or item shall be brought in the state courts located in Sydney NSW & shall be governed by the laws of this state.
